Video and Photo blogging allows users to upload photos and videos to a website. This can be done from mobile phones and PCs. The uploaded images can then either be displayed publicly, or only to a group that is controlled by the user.

Our technology for acheiving this involves a photo and video upload component that allows the users to upload multiple files at once while displaying a progress bar - essential for large files. Once uploaded, images are automatically scaled to set of sizes, for example thumbnail, regular and large. With videos, they are transcoded (converted) into a format suitable for transmission over the web.
